Cullen joined the Clowers group in 2020 after getting his BS in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Georgia and studying plant pathology and toxicology at the USDA Russell Research Center. As a second year PhD student in analytical chemistry, his research has included applying ion multiplexing techniques to interesting yet slowly integrating detection schemes (e.g., ion cameras, trapping mass spectrometers). He hopes to use these new capabilities to investigate the transversal movement of ions in several relevant mobility experiments.
